Outrigger canoes and neighbors too!

Had a great workout and a lot of fun this morning! Every Sunday I go to Mission Bay and meet up with the men and women of Hanohano, my outrigger canoe club. The boats weigh 500 pounds each and it takes many people to lift them and bring them down to the water. Then we spend over an hour paddling out the jetty, into the ocean and back. It's an amazing core workout. It also works arms and legs. This morning was overcast and cool, but once we get warmed up it's really great.  Today I brought my neighbor. I was worried that she would be overwhelmed and that she wouldn't have a good time- just the opposite! She loved it! I love introducing people to new things so I was just tickled that she had such a great time. She loved all the people too! We're a friendly group. She's planning on coming out again next Sunday! I'm looking forward to it! 

Chronic Instagramer

I love taking pictures.  The camera I use most is the one on my Iphone 4s.  My most popular subject recently has been my 7 month old husky puppy named Monday.  I love pictures of nature though, and enjoy pictures of people, mostly of old people because they're usually the most candid.  Here's a link to my Instagram page.

Pin-aholics

As I've said before, I'm addicted to Pinterest!  I just love pinning a variety of stuff and then looking at my boards because it helps me learn about myself.  If it weren't for Pinterest I wouldn't know my own style!  I don't have very much confidence in myself but pinning is really changing that for me.  Here's a link to my Pinterest boards so that you can learn about my style too!  I love finding like minded people to give me more inspiration!

I'm an artist at heart

Until I figure out this blogging thing, customizing my page and such, I'll just put my info into posts.  The first site I created was to get my art noticed by local coffee shops so I could hang it on their walls.  This site was free through Wix.com and helped me achieve my goal.
